TREASURE ISLAND, San Francisco — Cityside Park on the western shoreline of Treasure Island gives local residents and visitors a public waterfront space with views toward downtown San Francisco.
San Francisco Recreation and Parks lists the address as 387 Avenue of the Palms. Features include lawns, picnic tables, barbecue grills, public art, seating and a pedestrian plaza. The department lists park hours from 5 a.m. to midnight, while individual amenity availability can vary because of maintenance and special events.
The city’s facility page describes first-come, first-served picnic and barbecue use and also discusses a reservation system. Visitors should confirm the current rule rather than assume a table is automatically held by a group. Fire safety, waste disposal and local restrictions still apply.
What residents should know
San Francisco Recreation and Parks took over management of the new island parks July 1, 2026. The island’s broader development program plans additional open spaces, but those planned parks should not be mistaken for facilities already open.
